About THE PROJECT
For the launch of the all-new 2023 Honda CR-V, the brief was straightforward: Expand the Hondaverse by adding new zones and by showcasing the Honda CR-V in various terrains to traverse. With the CR-V’s off-roading capabilities, it was vital to depict it in rugged environments, but also in more upscale and premium settings. The goal was to paint a vivid picture for potential customers, helping them visualize owning this SUV, regardless of how it would be used or where.
THE SOLUTION
Unreal Engine excels in replicating natural environments with its terrain sculpting tools. These tools enable users to mold landscapes to mirror real-world terrains or craft entirely distinct settings. Among Unreal Engine’s standout features is its real-time editing. Its robust in-editor rendering lets users witness changes instantly, facilitating on-the-spot adjustments to lighting, materials, and asset positioning.
